Ancillary Justice

Our first book is Ancillary Justice, by Ann Leckie.  In 2014, Ancillary Justice became the first novel to win the “triple crown” of  major science fiction awards, capturing the Hugo, Nebula, and Arthur C. Clarke Awards for Best Novel (and picking up the British Science Fiction and Locus Awards for good measure). The EPL Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Discussion Group will be meeting (for the first time!) to discuss this book on April 1, 2015, from 7 – 8 PM in the Seminar Room (3rd floor) of the Evanston Public Library.  In the meantime, however, you may want to get a head start on the discussion (and connect with fellow readers) by joining the EPL Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Discussion Group on Goodreads.  You might also want to check out some reviews of Ancillary Justice from io9.com (a terrific site for all things sci-fi and fantasy) and NPR.

I’m looking forward to meeting my fellow sci-fi and fantasy fans in the Evanston area, both online and in person!  If you have any questions or suggestions about the EPL Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Discussion Group, please feel free to contact me at lneal@cityofevanston.org.
